Speakers at a memorial meeting on late former Mayor of Chittagong Mohiuddin Chowdhury paid rich tributes to him (Mohiuddin) and observed that the late Awami League leader left behind him many lessons to learn, reports BSS.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, acting President of Chittagong City Awami League (AL) Mahtab Uddin Chowdhury recalled Mohiuddin’s immense contributions to the development of the port city and welfare of the common masses.
“We have many things to learn from the prolonged political legacy of Mohiuddin Chowdhury that he left for the rank and file of the party”, the acting president said.
Mahtab was addressing the memorial meeting organized by the “Muktijuddah’s Family” in the city.
Vice-President of city AL Noyom Uddin Chowdhury, city AL advisor Sheikh Ishaq Mia and Sramik League leader Safar Ali, among others, addressed the function.
