GP, BRAC to teach 50,000 students on internet safety

With a view to raising awareness on “Safe Internet” usage, mobile phone operator Grameenphone (GP), in partnership with BRAC, is going to expand awareness campaign to another 50,000 school students.

The campaign has mainly been designed to aware the school children of safe internet navigation as well as teach them some of the “to do” and “not to do”.

“Grameenphone considers it a responsibility to ensure that people, especially children, get the best out of the digital technology at their disposal,” said GP Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Mahmud Hossain at press conference today at BRAC Inn, said a press release.
