Mashrafe to visit Rangpur supporting disabled cricketers

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Bangladesh national ODI captain and also the skipper of Rangpur Riders for the upcoming BPL edition will witness a friendly cricket match of physically challenged cricketers in Rangpur on Wednesday (Sep 27).


ARDRID, an organisation working for the welfare of disabled people throughout the country has arranged the cricket match. The match will be started on 10 am on Wednesday.


ARDRID Chief Executive Officer Badiuzzaman Al Amin announced the friendly match in a press briefing held at Rangpur stadium on Monday.


Apart from the cricket match, a cultural programme also will be presented by disabled children.


Rangpur Range DIG Khondkar Golam Faruque BPM, Bashundhora Group Vice Chairman Safwan Sobhan, Head of Rangpur Division Major Md Harun Ar Rashid will be among other dignitaries likely to attend the event.
