Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan left Dhaka last night for Saudi Arabia to perform the holy hajj, said an official release on Friday.
Syeda Rokeya Begum, Shipping Minister’s wife, is accompanying him for performing the holy event.
The minister is expected to return home on September 6.
