The price of raw cowhide has been fixed at Tk 50-55 per square foot in the capital while it will be Tk 40-45 outside the capital.
Besides, the price of goatskins has been fixed at highest Tk 20-22 per square foot.
The decision came from a meeting held at the Commerce Ministry conference room with Minister Tofail Ahmed in the chair on Sunday.
The Eid-ul-Azha is likely to be held on September 2.
