The nature of Tamim’s injury is not serious, said the Chief Selector of Bangladesh Cricket Team Minhajul Abedin Nannu on Sunday.
He said: “Tamim came to Dhaka from Chittagong along with us on Saturday. He will recover within a few days.”
According to source, Tamim got out for 29 runs during Bangladesh’s three-day practice match at Chittagong and walked towards the pavilion. The injury happened once he hit the door of the dressing room with his bat.
